This past week, Mel Bochner’s paintings have been making their rounds on the blogs that I follow. I didn’t recognize his name, but the style was strangely familiar. After some Googling, I realised that it’s because he had a bunch of work at the Armory Show at the Two Palms gallery. I searched for him on my own site but didn’t find, so here’s the late addition of Mel Bochner to my armory posts. In my googling I also found a really nice armory wrap-up on Art Observed, that was similar to mine, but more complete.
