I bought this from an estate sale 5 years ago right here in Long Beach and have used it as a paperweight. It must be in fermaldahyde because it hasn’t deterioated one bit. I tried to take off the lid in order to take a photo from inside but it must be sealed permanently because it wouldn’t budge. The vintage jar is 3”tall and 2.5”across. There are 3 photos from different angles…..Shipping is $8.00 for the lower 48 and sent via USPS.
This auction is already over but it reminds me of my most brilliant idea yet for a piece of art: Damien Hirst in a tank of formaldehyde. Besides the fact that I wrote my Common App essay on how I’m not interested in selling art, just IMAGINE how much that piece would sell for.
