Today, with my friend Julia, I co-bought my first piece of art from artist Christine Hill at the Armory Show. The remedies cost $20, but we got a student rate of $10, and split the cost, so it’s an investment of just $5. We’re very happy with our purchase and also slightly confused by it. We will probably alternate who gets to keep it around. It might be worth something someday, but for now I am growing more and more attached to it, and might never let it leave our hands.
In other news, I am exhausted from jogging through the massive show in less than 3 hours. Expect a heavy flurry of Art Fair postings and photographs on here soon.**
